Liquor Control Reform Regulations: Regulatory Impact Statement

The Allen Consulting Group wrote a report for the Victorian Department of Justice investigating the costs of alcohol-related harm in Victoria, the link between alcohol-related harm and the operation of licensed premises and options for attributing costs to licensed premises through a risk-based licensing structure. This report was a key input to the design of the proposed risk-based licensing system in Victoria. Following the completion of this study, the Allen Consulting Group was commissioned to develop a risk-based licensing fee model and to assist the Department of Justice in preparing the Regulatory Impact Statement for the Liquor Control Reform Regulations.
